Recording Session - Take 1

Quick recording of a mini pilot happened today – though truthfully, it did take much longer than it was supposed to. Ended up spending at least 2 hours just getting used to the equipment at the MMJC studios - plus 20+ different takes, only to come out with one less-than-four-minutes little sound bit.
Now for the record, I do know that the vast majority of audio recording software enables you to makes edits. It's just that my perfectionist tendencies were starting to show again while I was trying to come up a good take I was satisfied with. [Insert obligatory Hamilton reference here....]
Of course, there's still a number of things to be done before it shows up on SoundCloud. And frankly, I have no illusions that any of the podcasts this term will be seeing much circulation or traffic for that matter - partly because of the bare amount of social media presence this project currently has; and also partly because I literally do not have the time to be managing social media stuff, producing and editing audio for the podcast, and working on academic research for the this in the mean time. Increasing listenership and website traffic will have to be something for next term.
Besides, it's not like I can be working non-stop. ... Like I'm running out of time.... Writing day and night like I'm running out of time....
Ok now all Hamilton jokes aside, I have been setting up plans for the first official podcast already - so, that'll be exciting to see what happens. :)
